Vintage Lyric Poster Design
The purpose of this project is to take lyrics of an older song and turn it into a poster. This poster is meant to appear like it was created in the 1970s in which the song by Queen was released. To accomplish this particular look, warm, rich colors and textures were applied. These elements are similar to those you would find during that decade.
Moodbaord
A moodboard is created during the brainstorming process to get inspiration and determine the goal of the project. In this case, classic 1970s typography used in pop culture was heavily influenced in the final result.
Gig Poster & Merchandise
The goal for this design was to create a concert poster and merchandise to go along with it. The end result is meant to look like something the band would officially promote. In this case, the band No Doubt was the focus. The distressed textures and patterns are use to give the design a grunge look. The use of the orange slice is to symbolize where the band is from, Orange County, CA
